Gilbert B.
Lee, M.D.
Dr. Gilbert Lee
grew up in Portland Oregon and went to college at Willamette University
and University of Oregon. He completed medical school at Portland’s OHSU
and Internal medicine specialty training at Charleston Area Medical Center
before spending 18 years in private practice in Newport Oregon. He
relocated to Bend in 1999.
Dr. Lee has been past president of the Oregon Society of
Internal Medicine, past president of the Lincoln County Central Coast
Independent Practice Association, and twelve years as delegate to the
Oregon Medical Association. He is on the faculty of the University of
Oregon Health Sciences Center in Portland and teaches physician
assistants, medical students and internal medicine residents on rotation
in his office.Dr. Lee’s philosophy is that Healthcare is a personal
service industry requiring volumes of detailed sensitive information which
must be integrated into each healthcare decision. The paper paradigm clogs
the system and takes valuable time away from patient care. Therefore he is
committed to electronic medical records. |

C. Frost Lee, M.D.
After earning her M.D.
Degree Dr. Lee practiced in rural Appalachia and later returned to her
Oregon roots to practice primary care internal medicine in Newport,
Oregon. Dr. Lee's 20 years in Internal Medicine provided her with the
hands-on experience to build and manage an innovative company.
In 1995, as In-Med’s founder,
she began her search for a user-friendly software application to assist in
the management of her own medical practice. Unable to find a suitable
software tool, Dr. Lee conducted extensive research to create a software
program that would address the specific needs not only of her practice,
but of small medical practices everywhere. The result—In-Med’s
CompletePractice.
With her experience as a
physician, developing a secure practice management solution, Dr. Lee has
become a recognized expert on HIPAA legislation. She worked closely with
the Oregon Medical Association and Siemens Medical Corporation to educate
healthcare on the practical implementation of measures for HIPAA
compliance and training and created e-healthcare learning and
certification tools nationwide.
She is passionate about science
and education. A passion recognized by the governor of
Oregon, who appointed her
to the Oregon Council for Knowledge and Economic Development. Empowered
by the state legislators, this council is developing a blueprint for
linking economic growth for the state of Oregon with business and higher
education resources. |
